TYLER TOEWS
Based in Nelson, BC, Tyler Toews painted “Melt” at the top of the stairs leading to Sunhouse Café and Rockaboo Mountain Adventures (610 Patricia Street). His mural presents a striking commentary on climate change—depicting a gallery scene where breathtaking glaciers are slowly disappearing behind a melting ice cube. This 3D anamorphic design forces viewers to engage with the artwork from a specific perspective, enhancing its visual impact and deepening its message about the fragility of our natural world.
